Finding a Venue – 101
Choosing the perfect venue for you function isn’t always the easiest decision to make. With so many questions and concerns it can become a bit overwhelming. For example, some of your questions may be “How many people will be attending” and “Where is the best location geographical location everyone to meet at?”
First thing to consider and keep in mind is it will be virtually impossible to find a venue that will meet 100% of your needs. More than likely you will need to make some compromises and it is wise to have a general idea on what you are willing to negotiate on and what you have a little leeway with. For instance are you willing to sacrifice ample parking if the venue will let you use your own caterer? The more prepared you are when looking at venues the less surprised you will be later on when something arises.
